The problem with modern communication

Most digital communication tools are designed around speed, visibility, and reaction. They reward posting often, reaching many people, and collecting responses. Over time this optimises for performance rather than connection. The people we most want to stay close to can feel strangely distant even when we are in constant contact.

How it works

You write letters — stories, updates, photos — and send them to a small group of people you choose. Each letter goes directly to their inbox. Only the people you invited can read what you write. There are no public feeds, no likes, no follower counts, and no algorithmic amplification.

Privacy by design

Readers of a series do not see each other. There is no comment section, no group thread, and no social pressure created by visibility into how others responded.

How we keep your content safe

Every letter you write, along with any images you include, is encrypted before being stored. Only you and the readers you choose can access what you write. We cannot read your letters in the normal course of operating the service.

Where your data lives

Email delivery: Brevo (Sendinblue SA), a French company, GDPR-compliant by default.
Database: Hosted in Frankfurt, Central Europe.
Application and media storage: Microsoft Azure, Sweden Central. Powered 100% by renewable energy.

The people who receive your letters are not followers. They are not subscribers in the creator-economy sense. They are people who have consented to hear from you, and that distinction shapes everything about how the platform works. Everletter is not built for broadcasting. It is built for ongoing correspondence that keeps relationships alive across distance and time.
